If you are in college, looking for a Nonprofit Organization do your internship, we are able to assist you! United Christian Association for Haiti is a non-profit organization - so we rely on fundraising dollars to continue to provide the services we do for the families in Haiti.

​

We have a Fundraising Committee that meets once a month to plan our fundraisers in the Central Florida Community. We have 3 fundraisers each year and we are always open to new ideas. We would love new volunteers to become a part of the committee. As a member of the Fundraising Committee you can choose to work on specific events, help secure donations/auction items, create a new event, help set-up the venues, sell tickets, or simply help us promote our events.

Once you have been approved as an intern, you can:

-Earn hours towards your credit for your class

-On hands experience by going into the community, setting up events, interacting with different businesses, making and maintaining contacts with different individuals

-Office Work which includes letter writing, budgeting and more.

 

Volunteers on the Fundraising Committee are required to fill out a volunteer application and do a simple training.

WHO WE NEED: Committed individuals, Interns, Community Service (Juniors and Seniors). 

SKILLS NEEDED: We are looking for volunteers with the following skills: Public Speaking, Public Relations / Outreach, Grant Development  , Special Events, Office Skills
