Many of the youth in our communities struggle just to get in college, in spite of their good academics! But the support you provide can make all the difference and allow them to start their road to getting a good education and providing a better future for themselves and their families.
Like Widlyne Israel, she had a GPA of 4.8 and we were the first to provide her with a scholarship towards her college tuition. This was presented to her by the Orlando Police Department during our Invest in our Youth event.

Widlyne Isarel is a graduating senior of the great Jones High School in Orlando, Florida. She is an International Baccalaureate Diploma Program student ranked number fifth in her senior class out of 305 students with a 4.9 GPA. Widlyne is very active in extracurricular activities both inside and outside of school, serving as the Captain of the girls weightlifting team, participating in Varsity Flag Football and serving as Soprano section leader in Concert Choir and Master Singers. Also, she is a member of the National Honor Society, National Beta Club, serve as the secretary of the Student Government Association and for the Orange County Branch of the NAACP Youth Council. Widlyne is a member of Fresh Anointing Family Worship Center and works part-time. She also participates in a mentoring program, College Bound Success.
Widlyne plans to major in Political Science and minor in English. The most important person to Widlyne is her mother, who works very hard for Widlyne and her sister, this is a great incentive to her to achieve her goals. Widlyne is a one of the best examples that the next generation has to offer, she is physically, mentally and emotionally helping to bring a brighter future to our country and the world.
