Artwork Entry
RULES:
1. No entry fees, free entry to the show as well , but any guest that comes with you must buy a ticket or pay $10.00 at the door
2. Size: Size of the portrait must from a 8 1/2 by 11 to 24 inches by 36 inches
3. Entry form is required for signing up and to submit, in order to preserve space for your Art work on the day of the show. (you can't show up the day of show with Art work)
4. Originality: All work must be completely original; no computer print at all.
5. Theme: "Don't Allow Fear to Bully Your Future"
6. Must be in attendance to receive prize
7. Judging Criteria: Does the Artwork fit the theme of the competition? Is there a creative interpretation of the theme? Does your work impact the viewer and relation to your theme?
8. Only one submission per Artist.
9. Age Requirement: 16 years old and older
10. Drawings can be done with color pencils, markers, pen, pencils or paint and Artwork will be returned back to the owner
11. Artwork will be judged by the audience. If there a tie, a judge is provided to break the tie.
PRIZE
12. First Place winner will receive a monetary prize and the art will be displayed at the Wells Built Museum of African American History and Culture
DEADLINE
The Artwork is to be submitted the day of the
show between 5:45 Pm and 6:45 Pm.
Poem Entry
RULES:
1. No entry fees, free entry to the show as well , but any guest that comes with you must buy a ticket or pay $10.00 at the door
2. NO CURSE WORDS OR SEXUAL LANGAGE WILL BE ACCEPTED
3. Must be in attendance to receive prize
4. Age Requirement: 16 years old and older
5. Originality: All work must be completely original; no computer print at all.
6. Poems must be emailed to Leadersforchange1@gmail.com
7. Theme: Don't Allow Fear to Bully Your Future
8. Poems should not be longer than 1 to 2 minutes to read or no longer than 4 to 6 paragraphs
9. Top 3 Poems will be chosen and announced the night of the event and winners will have option to read their poem or have poem read for them.
10. Only one submission per Writer

11. First Place winner will receive a monetary prize and the art will be displayed at the Wells Built Museum of African American History and Culture
DEADLINE
Deadline: All Poems must be submitted by the 16th of February. No Poems will be accepted after the deadline.
