He came looking for us

"And Joseph went after his brothers and found them..." Genesis 37:12-17

Jacob sent his younger son Joseph to go and check on his brothers who were supposed to be feeding the sheep in Shechem. But when he got there, he discovered that they have left and went to area where they had not supposed to have been and Joseph went looking for them.

Joseph, being a representative of Christ in the Old Testament, went looking for his brothers just as Christ came for us.

Reflect on this divine grace: Aren't you grateful that Christ sought us out when we were in a place, we shouldn't have been?

It does not matter if the place is physical, emotional or spiritual, Christ has the love and power to lead us back home to the Father.
