Let there be light

The light of Your word will not only reveal where we are standing at, but Who we are standing on. The light of Your word is power to reveal all that is possible. Let the light of Your word separate between what is and what is not.

Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. ² And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. ³ And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

"Let there be!" Before He created the sun and the moon in verse 14, He said, "let there be light." This light, this power, this insight to see what He is about to do.

With His word He spoke, and things begin to happen.

Heavenly Father, I pray, speak the light of Thy word into our lives today:

The entrance of the Thy word giveth light, it gives us understanding for our lives.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and light unto my path. Your word will not only reveal where we are standing at, but Who we are standing on. The light of Your word also shines clearly on the path that we must follow.

O send out Thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
